A 大学では COVID-19 の拡大を受け、看護４年生前期の臨地実習の代替えとして学内実習プログラムを計画し実施した。本研究の目的は、学内実習プログラムで実施した小児看護学実習における学生の学びと課題を明らかにし、今後の実習のあり方について検討することである。質問紙調査と実習レポートの分析を実施した結果、学生は学内実習においても、子どもの特徴や子どもの独自のケアの方法といった 小児看護学実習で学修すべき要素は学んでいた。しかし学内実習では、子どもの反応といった臨地での体験を通しての学びや倫理的な態度について学ぶことには課題があることが確認された。学内実習では、実習目的に合致した教材の提示や学生の学びを広げるための指導上の工夫、カンファレンスの企画・運 営が重要であり、今後の小児看護学実習では、臨地と学内をつなぐハイブリッド型実習を検討する重要 性が示唆された。 |

In response to the spread of COVID-19, the University of A planned and implemented an on- campus training program as an alternative to the clinical training generally conducted in the first semester of the fourth year of its nursing program. The purpose of this study is to describe the students’ learning process and address issues in pediatric nursing practice related to the on-campus training program as well as to examine the future of the practice. The results of the questionnaire survey and the practical training reports showed that, through the on-campus practice, the students learned the elements required for pediatric nursing practice, including children’s traits and unique methods of caring for children. However, the results also showed that there were issues with learning about children’s reactions from hands-on experience and about proper ethical attitudes . It is important for on-campus practice to provide teaching material that matches the purpose of training, to devise teaching methods that expand students’ knowledge, and to plan and organize conferences. Consideration of a hybrid of practical training that connects the campus and the practical training site is suggested as important for future pediatric nursing practice. |
