I analyzed the relationship between 2 of Adam Smith's writings The theory of moral sentiments" and The Wealth of nations", and inferred that human study' assumes primary importance in the beginning of the economics, and that sympathy' is the core principle in this human study'. Through the Smith's theoretical framework which I have conjected from this study, I surveyed the economic development during the Edo period, with the help of the result in economics. After this survey, I tried an extract of the contents of history education including sympathy' as a disciplinary aspect.
